55. International Fair of Agriculture and Food, 26.-31.8.2017

Gornja Radgona, last weekend of August marks the time for the opening of the International Fair of Agriculture and Food. The 55 th edition of one of the most important events in the field of agriculture, food and forestry in Slovenia and the region will open its doors from the 26 th -31 st August 2017. The fair will, among other things, focus on the sustainable forest management and will bring together stakeholders from this field, relevant for the 16+1 initiative.

Gornja Radgona is a town located in north-eastern Slovenia. A unique and targeted AGRA Fair attracts more than 120.000 visitors every year from Slovenia and the neighbouring countries. It offers offer traditional quality and innovative views of the future, which makes AGRA an indispensable business, professional and promotional exhibition event. It is unique in attaining specific target partners with whom you wish to have closer contacts and brings together specific, qualified and high purchasing power supported by market demand from neighbouring countries.

Professional and business emphasis of AGRA Fair in 2017 will be the sustainable forest management. The preservation of untouched nature, natural and cultural landscape is crucial in the sustainable farming and sustainable forest management. The High-Level Meeting as well as accompanied business events will give further opportunities to promote agricultural and food cooperation between economic subjects from countries cooperation under the umbrella of the 16 + 1 initiative.
