2ND HIGH LEVEL MEETING OF THE COORDINATION MECHANISM FOR COOPERATION IN FORESTRY BETWEEN CHINA AND THE CEE COUNTRIES Palace “Serbia”, Belgrade, 14-15 May 2018
Ministers responsible for Forestry of the Coordination Mechanism for Cooperation in Forestry Between China and the CEE Countries (the Coordination Mechanism) will meet at the 2ND High Level Meeting to discuss the progress made in the Coordination Mechanism and Climate Change and Forestry in 21st Century in Belgrade, 14-15 May 2018.
The 2ND HL meeting of Ministers responsible for Forestry of the Coordination Mechanism will be devoted to the topic of Climate Change and Forestry in 21st Century and the ministers will adopt a statement on this issue.
The meeting is a biennial event that follows the progress of the Coordination Mechanism. This is the first such meeting after the inception of the Coordination mechanism in 2016 and will review the progress made in the development of the activities relevant to the mandate of the Coordinating
The Ministers will also officially open the Coordination Mechanism’s web site http://www.china-ceecforestry.org/ that will serve as an entry point for any kind of joint projects, business ventures or any other activity concerning 16+1.
As a side event to the meeting a Seminar on China- CEECs Forest Science Cooperation will take place at which forestry scientists and experts from 16+1 will discuss the future of Scientific and education cooperation within 16+1 forestry.
The next day the participants will attend the opening of 85. International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.
