First China-CEE Blockchain Summit held in Slovakia
The First China-Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Blockchain Summit was successfully held in Bratislava, Slovakia on Dec 13.
Organized by the China-CEE Blockchain Center of Excellence and the Slovak Government, the meeting was attended by some 100 representatives from central and eastern European governments, Diplomatic and Consular corps in Slovakia, think tanks and businesses from China and CEE countries.
Ambassador Huo Yuzhen, special representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for cooperation between China and CEE countries, attended the meeting and addressed the opening ceremony.
Huo highlighted the progress of “17+1 cooperation” and the development of blockchain technology in China. He noted the summit aimed to implement the provisions of the Dubrovnik Guidelines for Cooperation between China and CEE countries, and explore the possibility of cooperation in relevant fields of the blockchain.Huo also expressed the hope that all parties could fully exchange views and lay a good foundation for future collaboration.
